ANTICIPATE the next pass: Increased peripheral awareness will allow athletes to see the play develop while still keeping track of their “man”.
PASS more accurately: Being able to focus on multiple players at once will allow for better decision making and a higher “assist to turnover” ratio.
OUTLAST your opponent: Physical fatigue negatively affects decision making, focus, peripheral awareness, and accuracy. Combining mental and physical training using intervals will challenge both systems thereby allowing the athlete to better perform at the end of the shift and more importantly at the end of the game.
